Apryl Martin has been working with Herbal
Medicine for over ten years. Apryl is a community herbalist and medicine maker. As a
graduate of Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont, she holds a Master's degree in
Health Arts and Sciences. She is a first degree Reiki practitioner in the Usui
Tradition of natural healing.
Apryl has had the pleasure of working with some
wonderfully skilled formal teachers; however, some of her best teachings have come from
listening to the stories of her elders and their experiences with the plants. As a
native Vermonter, of Abenaki ancestry, these stories root Apryl to the land and give
great meaning to her work with plant spirit communion.
It is through listening to the plants, which you
are working with, that you receive the greatest medicine. This medicine comes in the form
of wisdom and companionship. You can sit by yourself in a meadow or a forest and never
truly be alone. |
